Job summary

Reliable Robotics is building safety-enhancing aviation tech and seeking a Platform Engineer to improve developer experience for flight software teams. You will scale CI/CD pipelines on AWS/GitHub, manage Terraform-based infrastructure, and bridge between embedded flight software and IT infrastructure.

You will work with Docker, Linux, and scripting in Python/Bash to automate and streamline workflows, enabling reliable, observable testing in a highly dynamic environment at the San Diego site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, release automation, or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience scaling CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions / workflows preferred).
• Proven ability to manage and provision AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash) and Linux system administration.

Responsibilities

• Write software and integrate with existing tools to improve developer experience at Reliable Robotics.
• Architect and scale CI/CD pipelines via AWS/GitHub workflows to enable automated, reproducible testing.
• Provision and manage AWS and on-premise resources using Terraform.
• Bridge the gap between embedded flight software, simulation, test and IT infrastructure.
• Support scaling of SIL/HITL test infrastructure.
