Venus Aerospace is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to own the flight software architecture and lead the embedded team to flight readiness in Houston, TX. You will join a multidisciplinary software group responsible for avionics, flight computers, HIL/V&V, and ground software, with significant ownership of architecture and processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing embedded systems for flight-related software.
• BS in computer engineering, CS, electrical engineering or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software for avionics and flight computers.
• Design, implement, and integrate real-time embedded software across hardware/software boundaries.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bring up and validate embedded systems.
