Job summary

Venus Aerospace in Houston, TX is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop flight software for our avionics and flight computers. You'll join a small team spanning embedded systems, ground software, hardware test and data acquisition, HIL/V&V, and internal enterprise software.

As an early member, you'll shape architecture and processes. Responsibilities include real-time embedded design, automated testing, and collaboration with Avionics, GNC, Test, and QA engineers to ensure flight

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded systems experience for flight-related software.
• BS in a relevant engineering discipline; advanced degree a plus.
• Proven ability to translate requirements into robust software.

Responsibilities

• Develop flight software for avionics and flight computers.
• Design, implement, and integrate real-time embedded software.
• Work across hardware/software boundaries to bring up systems.
• Collaborate with avionics, GNC, test, and QA engineers.
