Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Flight Software Manager to shape software for its next generation of space systems. You will not just manage a team but set architecture and engineering framework across flight and embedded payload software.

You’ll guide the full lifecycle from requirements to verification, own program priorities and risks, and collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, and program teams to enable multiple vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading flight software teams.
• Ability to translate mission needs into clear requirements and architecture.
• Experience with space avionics, hardware-in-the-loop testing, or embedded payload systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define software architecture and development standards for future programs.
• Lead a team of flight software and embedded software engineers.
• Guide the full engineering lifecycle from requirements and design through verification.
• Own software plans, priorities, resources and technical risks against program milestones.
• Lead hardware and software integration, including interface definitions and test strategy.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware and program teams to make sound technical decisions.
