Job summary

Delaware Resource Group LLC is seeking a Simulator Technician I to apply technical knowledge for maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of full flight simulators. The role includes interpreting manuals, supporting multiple operating systems, and maintaining documentation.

The successful candidate will guide junior technicians, perform fault isolation, and assist with simulator modifications and networking on training devices. Travel as required.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge and experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and operation of full flight simulators.
• Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and related documents.
• Knowledge of computer systems across multiple operating systems.
• Documentation and data-base management experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems and interprets manuals as needed.
• Receives limited guidance from supervisor and ensures compliance with practices and work assignments.
• Provides technical guidance to junior Simulator Technicians.
• Interprets mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic schematics and creates simplified versions.
• Conducts voice communications on phone, inter-phone and radio circuits.
• Maintains maintenance activity documentation and tracks repair status in the database.
• Performs system interface/fault isolation and basic simulator modifications.
• Provides networking and information systems support on training devices and networks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
