Job summary

DRG SERVICES LLC is seeking a Simulator Technician I at Grissom AFB, IN to maintain and repair full flight simulators and related training devices. The role requires technical knowledge and the ability to interpret complex schematics, perform tests, and document maintenance actions.

The candidate should have a Technical College Degree with related experience or an equivalent combination, plus strong communication skills and the ability to work varied shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Requires Technical College Degree with 2 years related experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and operation of full flight simulators or equivalent education/experience totaling at least 4 years.
• Two years of related experience may substitute for absence of a Technical College Degree.
• Must meet the minimum education, experience and qualifications of a Simulator Technician I.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems referenced by maintenance manuals or similar documents.
• Receives limited technical guidance and ensures work complies with accepted practices.
• Provides technical guidance to junior Simulator Technicians.
• Interprets and works with computer systems across multiple operating systems.
• Maintains documentation of maintenance activities and tracks repair status.
• Diagnoses malfunctions and performs operability/readiness tests and repairs.
• Performs system interface/fault isolation and basic modifications to simulators.
• Interprets electrical, hydraulic, mechanical schematics and drawings.
