Job summary

FlightSafety International is a leading aviation training company seeking a Flight Instructor to deliver high-quality ground and simulator training for clients across core, specialty and enrichment programs. The role requires adherence to safety and regulatory standards and active participation in the company’s training framework.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
• An unrestricted ATP certificate, or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
• If no ATP, must meet 14 CFR part 61.153 and 61.64 without SOE limitations.
• Minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Preferred: FAR Part 135/121 or military aviation experience.
• Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pilot ground and simulator training for core, specialty, or enrichment courses.
• Develop and prepare training materials to meet client needs per curriculum.
• Evaluate and measure trainee progress and recommend qualification or further training.
• Complete accurate training records specific to each client for objective achievement.
• Identify client training issues and seek assistance before execution.
• Maintain Instructor qualifications per regulatory requirements.
