Job summary

Delaware Resource group is seeking Flight Simulator Field Service Representatives to provide on-site support for installation, modification, disassembly, relocation, reassembly, and maintenance of VP/FTD systems globally. This project-based role requires proactive problem-solving and strong technical expertise to keep simulators operating at peak performance, even after relocation.

Qualifications

3-5 years working as a simulator technician or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux, can use editors, navigate directories and files.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, update software, assist upgrades, teardown/build and deployment for VP/FTD systems.
Provide on-site technical support and operational training; assist in developing schedules and plans.
Perform on-site administration: records, site security, vendor coordination, maintain spares, tools, manuals; liaise with US Government.
Read BOMs, create packing/install checklists, and contribute to checklists as needed.
Carry out power on/off, startup/shutdown, operation checks, session management, user support, networking, and deployment tasks.
Maintain VP/FTD, conduct regular inspections, hardware/software maintenance, and calibration of systems.
Update VP/FTD software and maintain manuals, logs, and records.
Read electrical/mechanical schematics to troubleshoot issues.
Assist OEM Engineer upgrades and train users on new features.
Perform other duties as assigned.
