Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace or related technical field, or a two-year technical degree with equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience coordinating projects and managing technical work activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and/or Microsoft Windows operating systems.
• Experience with FORTRAN, C/C++, and/or Assembly programming languages.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate software and hardware design activities to support flight training device modifications.
• Install, verify, test, integrate, and document new or modified software and hardware designs.
• Assess modification requirements to improve realism and resolve anomalies.
• Translate requirements into workload estimates based on scope and resources.
• Perform scope analysis and lead design, implementation, testing, and integration.
• Support technical services in troubleshooting simulator issues.
• Develop and document maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate qualification activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and regulatory evaluation reports.
• Lead moderately sized projects and mentor junior staff.
