This role involves producing Flight Safety Analysis and regulatory strategies for FAA Part 450 licenses. The position requires cross-functional collaboration to ensure flight hardware verification and robust reentry methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a background in aerospace or systems engineering, strong communication skills, and experience with risk management methodologies. The position is onsite and comes with a competitive salary range of $104,000 - $145,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, systems engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated ownership and execution of a complex engineering project, cradle-to-grave.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform flight safety analyses for each mission, focusing on failure mode trajectory modeling.
• Execute the technical regulatory strategy, Methods of Compliance, and safety cases.
• Responsible for vehicle-level deliverables to regulatory organizations.
