Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Solar Technician to support the assembly, integration, and testing of solar array systems for spacecraft platforms. You will work with engineering and production to build flight-ready hardware and help scale manufacturing processes.

The role requires hands-on mechanical assembly experience, reading engineering drawings, and operating automated equipment. Onsite work at Factory One in LA with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or production environments.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and torque tools, measurement equipment.
• Experience with aerospace, solar, or precision hardware assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft solar array systems and hardware.
• Assemble precision mechanical components per drawings and procedures.
• Install solar panels, deployment mechanisms, hinges, brackets and fasteners.
• Operate and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect assemblies for engineering and quality compliance.
• Document build records and traceability.
