Job summary

Tiberius Aerospace is seeking a Flight Performance Engineer to advance vehicle and engine performance modeling, reduce wind tunnel and engine test data, and validate databases for our air vehicle and munition programs.

The role bridges CFD, ground and flight testing, and the broader program performance models. You will build reduced-order models, analyze data, and collaborate across disciplines with government technical representatives.

Qualifications

• B.S. or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years in aerodynamics, propulsion, or flight performance analysis.
• Proficiency in tools and methods for performance modeling, data analysis, and automation.
• Familiarity with CFD-derived aerodynamic and propulsion databases integrated into models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain flight vehicle and propulsion performance models.
• Support generation and maintenance of aerodynamic and propulsion databases.
• Reduce and analyze test data from wind tunnel, engine tests, and flight tests.
• Support test planning including instrumentation requirements and point selection.
• Document correlation results and update models with new data.
• Assist in program management with performance status updates and risk identification.
• Interface with government customers and internal teams on performance requirements.
• Coordinate with CFD engineers for data handoff and integration.
