Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Granbury, TX seeks a Flight Paramedic to join our helicopter air ambulance team. You will provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS, complete electronic patient care reports, and participate in pre-mission briefings and safety checks.

Applicants must have 3+ years in 911 or critical care, EMT-P license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP; FP-C preferred with 24-month certification window. Join a safety-focused, high-quality patient care team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license in the states served.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required.
• FP-C preferred, required within 24 months from hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care with thorough documentation.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of equipment and supplies used by emergency programs.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, EMS, hospitals, and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in briefings/debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklist and pilot-related activities.
• Adhere to safety standards to ensure crew and patient safety.
