Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam in Union City, TN is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air-transport team and safely transport patients to medical facilities, including scene call work.

The role emphasizes safety and high-quality patient care on every mission, with starting pay at $21.34 hourly plus DOE. Responsibilities include completing electronic patient care records, base checks, and providing pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care as part of a professional flight crew.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C), required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff.
• Maintain knowledge and psychomotor skills through ongoing training and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures in the Education Manual.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are current and properly maintained for EMS operations.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues, EMS partners, hospitals and the public.
• Serve as a medical flight team member and participate in mission briefings and debriefings.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and pilot support as needed.
