Job summary

Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Paramedic in ALTUS, OK to transport patients and perform scene call work with a safety-focused, professional team. Expect ongoing patient care, documentation, and collaboration with EMS and hospitals.

Starting pay is $21.32 hourly with DOE, plus an $8.33 hourly area stipend modification. Requires ALS capabilities and current EMT-P license with FP-C path within 24 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the required time frame.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics counts.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact to handoff.
• Maintain competency through ongoing lab and clinical experiences.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, CE, safety, and procedures documentation.
