Job summary

PHI Health in Michigan is seeking a qualified Flight Paramedic to provide safe and comprehensive care in the pre-hospital and inter-facility transport setting. You will work under the Base Medical Supervisor, applying advanced flight paramedic protocols and ensuring thorough documentation and effective communication with teams.

The role requires active Paramedic Certification, 3–5 years of realistic field experience in a busy 911 environment, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS (NRP preferred).

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic Certification in the state(s) employed is required.
• Minimum of three years (five years preferred) current field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service.
• Maintains all certifications required by policy (BLS/ACLS/PALS etc.).
• FP-C within twenty-four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, comprehensive care to critically ill or injured patients in pre-hospital and inter-facility transport.
• Documents/Charts accurate information for assessment, treatment, stabilization, and billing.
• Maintains effective communication with management and external customers.
• Supports PR and marketing efforts and participates in CQI activities.
• Follows medical protocols and reports to Medical Director and Manager of Clinical Services.
