Job summary

Trinity Health seeks a Flight Paramedic to deliver advanced life support and critical care during aeromedical transports. You will work with flight nurses and pilots in a safety‑focused, high-stakes environment.

ND paramedic license and NREMT are required at hire, along with CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. PHTLS is preferred; instructor status or willingness to obtain within 6 months is expected. Shift work and training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• ND paramedic license required.
• Active NREMT paramedic license at time of hire.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP required at hire.
• PHTLS preferred; instructor status or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Leadership experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support and critical care during air medical transports.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and initiate treatments as patient condition requires.
• Collaborate with flight nurses, pilots, and receiving facilities for safe transport.
• Maintain readiness of clinical equipment and medications on the aircraft and participate in safety checks.
• Document assessments, interventions, and transport details in clinical systems.
• Participate in training, simulation and quality improvement activities for air medical operations.
