Job summary

Guardian Flight is seeking a Flight Paramedic to join our air transport team. You will transport patients to and from medical facilities and conduct scene call work, upholding high safety standards for crew and patients.

The role requires a minimum of three years in 911/critical care, EMT-P licensure, and FP-C within 24 months. You will work with a professional team and participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months from date of hire.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assigned area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certification required prior to flight status.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within required time frames.
• Perform daily base checks, including narcotics count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from first contact until handoff to accepting facility.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures documentation.
