Job summary

Guardian Flight is opening a new base in Watford, ND, with a winter 2027 start. The Flight Paramedic role offers a $74,000-$76,000 annual base pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after training. The schedule is a 10 days on / 20 days off, with company-paid crew housing during shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a 911 or critical care setting.
• Current EMT-P license/certification in the states served by the area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, trauma certifications required prior to flight status.
• Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) required within 24 months of hire.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• NREMT-P certification may be required in the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Completion and submission of electronic patient care records for each dispatched flight within the specified time frame.
• Daily base checks, including narcotic count.
• Provide pre-hospital and intra-hospital ALS care from initial contact until handoff to the receiving facility.
• Maintain competency through ongoing labs and clinical experiences.
• Document licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety, and procedures.
