Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a full-time Flight Nurse to deliver critical care during air transport in Somerset, KY.

You will join an elite crew and support rapid, high-stakes medical missions with a focus on patient safety and teamwork. Applicants should have an active RN license in the US, 3+ years of critical care, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS plus a qualifying additional certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years of critical care/emergency experience (5 years preferred).
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one of TNATC, TNCC, ITLS, or PHTLS (NRP and instructor certs preferred).
• CFRN certification within 24 months of hire.
• Flight/transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care to patients during air transport with safety and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate effectively with flight teams, patients, and external healthcare providers.
• Maintain compliance with company protocols, safety regulations, and medical standards.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to uphold high care standards.
• Schedule: Rotational shifts based on operational needs.

Requirements:

• Minimumof 3 years of critical care/emergency experience (5 years preferred).
• Currentcertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one of the following: TNATC, TNCC, ITLS,or PHTLS (NRP and instructor certifications preferred).
• CFRNcertification within 24 months of hire.
• Flightor transport experience preferred.
• Successfulcompletion of the Medical Group education/orientation program.
• Effectiveinterpersonal skills to work with team members, patients, and externalcustomers.
• Weightlimit: Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.
• Basiccomputer skills for electronic charting and communication.
• Abilityto pass a pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam (strength andflexibility assessment, including lifting up to 100 pounds), and drugscreening.
