Job summary

System Support seeks a Base Leader - RN for CareFlight Air & Mobile Services at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH. The role supports clinical crew operations, oversees base readiness, and collaborates with leadership to optimize performance during night shifts.

You will participate in orientation, manage inventory, ensure safety and infection control, and contribute to public outreach within the service area. Requires Ohio nursing credential with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
• - Or in the progress of obtaining degree
• § Type of degree: Nurse in the State of Ohio
• § Area of study or major: Nursing degree (BSN Preferred)
• § Position specific testing requirement: N/A

Responsibilities

• Maintains all requirements and fulfills all functions of a clinical crew member.
• Serves as a role model for customer-focused critical care transport medicine.
• Recommends and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of base operations and overall program performance.
• Assists in completion of new employee orientation and serves as a resource to team members.
• Oversees inventory and supplies at base level and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Oversees maintenance and organization of crew quarters and base safety standards.
• Participates in public relations/outreach education opportunities for the service area.
• Resolves flight issues/concerns by escalating to senior leadership when needed.
