Job summary

Requirements include 3 years in Emergency or Adult Critical Care, active RN license in relevant states, EMT & Trauma certifications, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP; CFRN within 24 months is preferred. This role involves aircraft environment upkeep and inter-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care setting.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s) where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment; perform base checks and equipment checks; comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Collaborate and communicate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change information to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.
