Air Evac Lifeteam is hiring a Flight Nurse to transport patients by air and work on a professional team committed to high safety standards.

The role requires Emergency/Adult Critical Care RN experience, a current RN license, and certifications BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP with CFRN within 24 months of hire. Starting pay is $28.66 hourly, DOE, with opportunities for higher pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care RN experience.
• Current RN license in states served by the area.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight; CFRN within 24 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking to manage the critically ill or injured patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform base and equipment checks and adhere to safety standards.
• Communicate with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners in a professional manner.
• Share shift change info and maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.
