Job summary

Guardian Flight is hiring a Flight Nurse to transport patients and perform scene call work on a team of air transportation experts. The role emphasizes patient safety, quality care, and high safety standards for crew and customers.

Starting annual compensation ranges from $90,000 to $93,000. The position follows a 5 days on / 10 days off rotation with company-paid crew housing while on shift, and requires relevant RN licensure and critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as an RN
• Current RN license in states served by assigned area
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification as required by state
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided)
• CFRN required within 24 months from hire date

Responsibilities

• Assess situations to determine best course of action for patient care in critical situations
• Manage critically ill or injured adults or pediatrics per physician orders
• Maintain safe, clean aircraft environment and perform base/equipment checks
• Communicate with air/ground teams, dispatch, flight crews and facilities
• Document shifts and ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training
