Flight NURSE Opportunity

We’re hiring a Flight Nurse to join our team of air transportation experts. Your role will involve safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities and scene call work. Safety, effective, and efficient patient care are core to our services. You will work with a professional team committed to high safety standards for both crew and customers.

Responsibilities

1. Assess each situation to determine the best course of action for supporting, monitoring, and treating patients in critical care situations.
2. Use critical thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients, supporting physicians’ orders.
3. Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment; perform regular equipment and base checks; comply with safety standards and briefings.
4. Collaborate and communicate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
5. Share shift change information with the transitioning team and follow protocols to ensure accurate documentation and records.
6. Maintain required certifications and ongoing training as mandated for the role.

Other Responsibilities

• Be punctual, reliable, professional, and uphold safety and service standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in Emergency or Adult Critical Care as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification in required states.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications prior to flight status (NRP provided during training).
• Trauma Certification where required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior flight experience.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.

Other Qualifications

• Achieve advanced certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) within 24 months of hire.
