Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Pediatric/Neonatal Specialty Team within Carolina Air Care. The role involves rotating shifts across helicopter and ground transport bases, providing high-level care for critically ill neonates and children.

Must meet licensure and certification requirements and be able to work in a dynamic air/ground transport environment. The position offers a 36-hour work week, with specific rotation patterns and eligibility for relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Current NC RN licensure.
• ACLS, BLS–Healthcare Provider, and PALS required prior to interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care for pediatric and neonatal patients.
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting.
• Participate in education and evidence-based practice to maintain high standards.
