Job summary

Amazon Leo DevOps is seeking an Aerospace Harnessing Technician to fabricate, assemble, and test electrical harnesses for spacecraft systems. You will work with Lab Engineers and QA to ensure adherence to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and MIL-SPEC harness requirements, while maintaining build records and logs.

The role involves interpreting complex drawings, using crimping, soldering, and lacing techniques, and supporting process improvements in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment in Redmond, WA.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience building or repairing aerospace harnesses.
• Experience with crimping, soldering, heat-shrink, and harness lacing/taping.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings to assemble harnesses.
• Fabricate harnesses per IPC/WHMA-A-620 and aerospace standards.
• Perform electrical testing (continuity, insulation, hipot) and document results.
• Inspect harnesses for quality and compliance with specs.
• Maintain build records, travelers, and inspection logs.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
