Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Receiving Inspector – Level 2 or 3 in Oxnard, CA. This 100% onsite role ensures incoming material meets contractual and documentation requirements before production. You will work with AS9100 environments and support MRB, RCCA, and supplier documentation validation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience.
• No clearance required to start
• Experience performing inspection for identity and dimensional conformance
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gages, and other inspection tools
• Visual inspection for defects (corrosion, cracks, dents, pits)
• Pass/fail decisions and maintaining inspection records
• Familiarity with QMS docs (POs, drawings, inspection instructions)
• Knowledge of AS9100 or equivalent QA systems
• Familiarity with SQAR requirements in government contracts
• US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspection on flight-critical hardware and components
• Validate supplier documentation prior to material acceptance
• Execute inspection per Quality Instructions and program requirements
• Initiate inspection records in TIPQA; verify routing in Costpoint
• Initiate Nonconformance Reports and support MRB documentation
• Apply visual, dimensional, and documentation-based inspection techniques
• Support RCCA reviews for escapes or deficiencies
• Collaborate with Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Production
