Job summary

Kalitta Charters II LLC in Michigan seeks a Flight Follower to support flight operations and safety. You will prepare and distribute domestic and international flight releases, weather data, and runways analysis under Part 121 guidelines.

The role requires an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and at least 1 year of Part 121/135 experience, plus strong communication, problem solving, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate required.
• 1+ year of experience as a Part 121/135 Flight Follower/Dispatcher.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and company procedures.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor status of planned and in-progress flights from origin to destination.
• Release flights per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Disseminate weather and aeronautical information to PIC and prepare flight plans.
• Ensure ground handling, deicing, fuel, slots, and permits are in order.
• Identify delays or issues and take corrective action.
• Inform appropriate personnel of delays and conditions affecting safety.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control on MEL/CDL considerations.
• Assess airport suitability and risk for operations.
