Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a Flight Data Reception and Records Operations Associate to coordinate at the FD&C Department. This role serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and regulatory documentation, ensuring accurate intake, processing, and routing of flight training records to the FAA.

The position requires independent judgment, strong coordination, and meticulous attention to detail, as errors can impact certification eligibility

Qualifications

• Analytical skill set with in‑depth knowledge of information systems and technical expertise with Microsoft operating systems, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end‑user applications such as ETA.
• Familiarity with flight training paperwork and lingo, preferred.
• Associate's Degree or higher; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive students and colleagues at the reception desk.
• Answer the phone and emails.
• Review documentation for errors and scanning documents to support the process.
• Perform data entry and workflow management.
• Workflow and systems management.
• Supporting the needs of the Analysts, Specialist, ACR and Manager.
• Guiding student assistants in support of those tasks.
