Job summary

Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Crew Scheduler to ensure the safety and legality of flight crew members under 14 CFR 121 and company policies, maintaining duty/rest records in collaboration with operations. This role is based onsite in Minneapolis.

Essential duties include compiling rosters, managing seniority-based scheduling, handling replacements, and communicating daily scheduling details. A strong organizational and communication background is required, with FAR knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Familiar with PC Applications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate with associated departments.
• Previous crew scheduling experience.
• Knowledge of crew scheduling systems.
• Familiar with crew member collective bargaining agreements.
• Knowledge of FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations).
• Ability to identify and resolve crew legality/scheduling conflicts.
• Ability to multi-task and perform under irregular operating conditions.
• Associate degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Compile duty rosters and maintain crewmembers' flight time records.
• Enter crewmembers on schedules by seniority; maintain shift logs.
• Post extra crewmembers on reserve list by seniority.
• Select replacements and notify substitutes.
• Compute and log cumulative flight time and enforce FAA limits.
• Answer calls from crew members and provide scheduling information daily.
• Handle confidential and time-sensitive material.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
