Job summary

Avelo Airlines, Inc. is seeking a Flight Crew Support Specialist to develop and manage schedules for pilots and flight attendants, ensuring compliance with FAR Parts 117 and 121 and alignment with union contracts.

You will collaborate with dispatch, operations, and HR to address changes, monitor FDPs and rest requirements, and ensure timely crew communications. Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.
• Must be a US citizen or possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays due to the nature of airline operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain flight crew schedules that comply with FAR Parts 117 and 121, company policies, and union contracts.
• Analyze flight operations and crew duty times to ensure adherence to rest requirements and prevent scheduling conflicts.
• Address schedule changes and disruptions due to weather, maintenance issues, or crew absences; coordinate with reserve crew and arrange logistics.
• Maintain clear communication with flight crews regarding schedules and changes.
• Utilize scheduling software to manage crew assignments, track duty times, and monitor FAR compliance.
• Collaborate with dispatchers, operations personnel, and people department to ensure smooth flight operations.
• Maintain accurate records of crew schedules, duty times, and qualifications.
