Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Flight Coordinator to schedule and manage all executive travel, flights on company aircraft, and related arrangements. You will coordinate with aviation leadership, handle travel documentation, and ensure compliance with FAA, IRS, and SEC requirements while preserving confidential schedules.
Responsibilities include arranging domestic and international flights, coordinating with external providers, and communicating trip details to executives and assistants.

The Flight Coordinator is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, documenting, and arranging all domestic and international flights on company-owned, leased, and chartered aircraft. Arranges all travel needs for all passengers and flight crews including ground transportation and hotel accommodations. Manages all personal travel documentation for executives to meet FAA, IRS and SEC requirements. Support Duke Energy Board of Directors with special travel needs and requirements, as required. Works with flight crew to communicate flight arrangements and manage communications on behalf of Corporate Aviation with executives and executive assistants, security and support services. Maintain flight records in accordance with Corporate Aviation policies, IRS, SEC, and FAA requirements. Maintains confidentiality of executive schedules and plans.
Hybrid Mobility Classification – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees must live within a reasonable commute to their designated Duke Energy facility, not greater than 50 miles one way. Employees are expected to report to their assigned Duke Energy facility as required and directed by their manager, on average 3 full workdays per regular workweek. Primarily at office in aviation facility, some work on weekends and holidays as necessary. Duty may include any time of day or night as required. May be required to be on standby status if not on official vacation.
