Job summary

Boeing is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technicians for a contract at our MRO Jacksonville facility. You will perform repairs and overhauls on strike fighters and derivative aircraft, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure strict tolerances in metallic and composite structures.

Candidates should have 3+ years of aircraft mechanic experience, strong reading of blueprints, and proficiency with precision measurement tools. Work is conducted with safety in mind and per Boeing standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Aircraft Mechanic experience (commercial/defense or relevant apprenticeship).
• 3+ years reading engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, specifications.
• Close tolerance drilling within .003 and precision measurement within .003.

Responsibilities

• Repair/overhaul structures for F18, EF Flight Controls.
• Identify fasteners: rivet, blind rivet, screw, hi-lock, bolt, lock bolt.
• Read and interpret blueprints, data sheets, maintenance manuals.
• Perform cleaning, corrosion prevention, and finishing work as required.
• Use measuring tools such as micrometer, dial caliper, depth gauge to meet blueprint specs.
• Assemble components, install rivets/fasteners per procedures.
• Ensure logs and handovers are completed accurately and on time.
