You will define and review software requirements, implement control algorithms, and support DO-178B/C certification efforts for real-time embedded systems with stringent safety needs. Collaboration across engineering teams is essential to deliver robust, high-performance software.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience developing in modern programming languages (e.g. C++; C).
• Experience with object oriented design.

Responsibilities

• Join Cedar Rapids team to develop flight control software for fixed and rotary wing platforms.
• Define and review software requirements and integrate MATLAB/Simulink code.
• Conduct requirements-based testing and support DO-178B/C certification.
• Work on real-time embedded systems with safety-critical requirements.
