State of Play has created and operates several category-leading concepts in the US and UK, including Bounce, Hijingo and Flight Club (under license in North America). All of the group’s concepts offer design-led, immersive environments, upscale food and beverage programs as well as highly engaging gameplay.

Position Purpose

As the Flight Club Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in executing growth for our fast-growing company’s future. Your AOR will be to execute Marketing and PR strategies including product, campaigns, programming, etc. for all U.S. Flight Club locations.

Position Responsibilities

  • Execute all marketing initiatives, products, projects, programs, promotions, and collateral production to verify that sales and marketing objectives are achieved and that revenue opportunities are maximized
  • Collaborate with venue leaders to evaluate the marketing readiness to establish support approach and expectations
  • Assist in social media as needed
  • Be the liaison and main POC for venue team
  • Establish and manage the local venue marketing budget
  • Serve as the brand guardian/liaison, verifying all marketing reflects brand voice, including but not limited to: website, third party online channels, all marketing material, etc
  • Manage internal and external partners to verify deliverables are executed to support venue strategy
  • Execute all PR strategy efforts
  • Work alongside peers to drive additional business through local ideas, venue level feedback, and boots-on-the-ground support where applicable
  • Completes other reasonable duties as requested by leadership

Requirements & Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing. Experience in “eatertainment” a plus
  • Proven track record of successfully executing marketing plans and producing strong results vs. KPIs
  • Ability to execute within a fast-paced environment and deliver amidst demanding timelines
  • Highly analytically independent.
  • Great storyteller
  • Proven track record of budget management
  • Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
