Job summary

Synectic Solutions, Inc. (SSI) seeks a Tactical Operations and Air/Weapons Specialist (Journeyman) to support the Navy’s PAe RAS Flight Clearance Product development at Patuxent River NAS in Lexington Park, MD.

The role focuses on testing, certification, and operational integration of unmanned aerial systems for shipboard and shore-based operations. Responsibilities include coordinating FC content, interfacing with NAVAIR stakeholders, and presenting briefs on new fleet capabilities while

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance is required.
Experience developing and implementing configuration management procedures for technical data.
Experience communicating with NAVAIR leadership, engineers, and fleet users.
Experience in Flight Operations on crewed aircraft, manned or unmanned (Civil or DoD).
Knowledge of FAA NAS policies for different class areas, altitudes, and dimensions.
Knowledge of DCMA/DoD/OPNAV/CNAF/NAVAIR docs and instructions related to flight ops and maintenance.
Ability to translate OEM manuals into DoD/NAVAIR program language.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and graphics/editorial tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary point of contact for Flight Clearance information and process knowledge for assigned platforms.
Coordinate and manage the development of all FC products.
Track and ensure IFC content transitions to permanent FC.
Create, update, and submit tracking reports to PMA and stakeholders.
