Your Mission

As a Flight Attendant, you'll take ownership of every detail, from pre‑flight preparation to post‑flight follow‑through, ensuring an unparalleled level of comfort, safety, and discretion for passengers. You'll work closely with the flight crew to deliver a seamless, personalized, and world‑class experience that reflects Solairus Aviation's commitment to excellence.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties
  • Passenger Service and Safety: Provide a high level of service to clients, ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers during flights. Direct and assist passengers in emergencies with confidence and composure. Administer basic first aid, including CPR, AED, and first aid, to passengers in distress. Secure the cabin in compliance with federal regulations before take‑off and landing. Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations with calm professionalism.
  • Cabin Preparation and Management: Conduct preflight briefings, ensuring everyone is informed and prepared. Ensure that food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other supplies are on board and sufficient for the trip and number of passengers. Shop for items specially requested by passengers for their flight. Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg—ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for flight. Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and cleanliness. Complete preflight, in‑flight, and post‑flight paperwork accurately and thoroughly. Operate audio and video systems, ensuring a seamless entertainment experience.
What You Bring to the Role
  • Experience and Training: 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant in the private aviation sector. FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar flight attendant training preferred; annual recurrent training required. First Aid Training Certification—CPR and AED proficiency essential. Culinary training and experience—you're passionate about food and skilled in its preparation and presentation. Deep understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations related to cabin safety.
  • Skills and Personal Qualities: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills—you connect easily with passengers and colleagues. Impeccable attention to detail—nothing escapes your notice. Unwavering discretion and professionalism—you handle sensitive information with the utmost care. Technological proficiency—comfortable with cabin management systems, entertainment systems, and modern galley equipment. Flexibility and adaptability—you thrive in a dynamic environment where schedules change and demands shift. Patience and composure—you remain calm under pressure, maintaining a polished demeanor at all times.
  • Availability and Logistics: Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide—valid passport and the ability to obtain necessary visas. Available to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days. Able to report for duty on short notice (2‑3 hour response when on standby). Flexibility to work a constantly changing schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Vision: Correctable to 20/20 or better; able to read reports, charts, and manage paperwork; comfortable using computers, smartphones, and iPads.
  • Hearing/Speaking: Clear speech and adequate hearing for effective communication in all situations, even during flight.
  • Standing/Walking: Physically capable of standing for up to 14 hours with limited ability to sit; able to work long hours in various climates.
  • Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling/Bending: Able to kneel in luggage compartments, load supplies, and maneuver in tight confinements within the aircraft.
  • Strength: Must be able to push/pull the main cabin door (up to 130 pounds); lift supplies weighing 25‑30 pounds repeatedly from floor to waist height.
Compensation

Solairus collects salary range information based on market conditions from multiple industry sources. Solairus crewmembers are paid $50,000 to $500,000 based on geographic area, experience, equipment type/aircraft, job duties, training, and the assigned account.
