Job summary

Smurfit WestRock Fort Worth Box on Demand in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift to set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press, working under limited supervision.

Starting pay is $25.06/hr, with benefits eligibility from day 1, including tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid vacation and holidays. You will contribute to quality and efficiency while supporting lean manufacturing and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a press operator or operator trainee.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Must pass color vision and color hue tests.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press.
• Work under minimum supervision.
• Locate and correct minor machine malfunctions.
• Clean, lubricate, and make minor adjustments to maintain quality of production.
• Deliver finished material to proper manufacturing areas as required.
• Ensure efficient operation and perform preventive maintenance on presses and related equipment.
