Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Fort Worth Box on Demand is seeking High Speed Flexographic Press Operators for off shifts. The role involves setting up, maintaining and operating a flexographic press, with responsibilities including minor troubleshooting and quality control on production lines.

Starting pay is $25.06 per hour for candidates with relevant press experience. Applicants should have at least three years of press operator experience, pass color vision tests, and be capable of basic math and reading

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience as a press operator or operator trainee.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Must pass color vision and color hue tests.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a flexographic press.
• Work under minimum supervision and ensure quality output.
• Locate and correct minor machine malfunctions.
• Clean, lubricate and adjust equipment to maintain production quality.
• Communicate needs and repairs to supervision and maintenance teams.
• Train other operators and ensure adherence to SOP and cGMP.
