Job summary

Staffmark Group in Florence, KY is seeking a Flexographic Plate Maker for the 3rd shift (11 PM–7 AM). You will convert artwork into press-ready plates, monitor quality, and operate manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of machinery experience and a high school diploma or GED. Preference for flexographic experience and technical training. Staffmark offers weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Location: Florence, KY

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift (11 PM-7AM, Monday-Friday)

Job Duties

• Converts approved artwork into pressready photopolymer plates for flexographic printing, ensuring the final product meets the printer's technical and quality requirement

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of machinery experience
• Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
• Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of Flexographic experience
• 1+ years of relative experience
• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Flexographic Plate Maker.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
