Resource Label Group in Fountain Valley, CA is hiring a Flexo Press Operator to set up and operate printing presses for labels and related products. The role includes loading dies, installing and aligning print cylinders, mixing inks, and performing routine press maintenance.

Onsite training and growth opportunities are provided to develop a skilled trade in printing. The position requires basic math, ability to read rulers, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds; wage range is

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret measurement devices (rulers, scales).
• Willingness to perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job order and load dies into press, install print cylinder on shaft and press.
• Fill ink pans, screens and pumps with prescribed inks.
• Start press, adjust speed and alignment of stock to the print cylinder.
• Engage print cylinders; adjust printing impression and run acceptance strip.
• Inspect samples for defects and adjust as needed.
• Clean plates, cylinders and dies; perform regular maintenance.
• Mix inks to achieve desired colors and viscosity.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
