Job summary

You will review job tickets, set up presses, run production, monitor color registration and die-cut quality, and collaborate with the Press Helper and supervisors. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills and be mechanically inclined.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of press operator or printing production experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate the press and support production as instructed.
• Review job tickets and ensure setup per specs with help of Press Helper.
• Run setup and log data for each job.
• Operate per specifications, log materials and time.
• Monitor print quality including color registration and die cut.
• Clean and prepare machine after job; move finished rolls to finishing.
• Communicate issues to Shift Supervisor/Production Manager.
• Collect data for each job and note materials/time variance.
• Troubleshoot press with Press Helper and Supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training.
