Job description

The Flexo Press Operator is responsible for operating Nilpeter label printing presses to produce high-quality custom and in-stock labels. This role requires prior experience with label printing presses and demands a keen eye for detail, precision, and a commitment to quality control throughout the production process. Press Operators collaborate closely with management to ensure smooth daily operations, maintain production schedules, and uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Label Production: Operate Nilpeter presses to fulfill custom print orders and stock label orders for Instocklabels.com.
2. Quality Control: Inspect labels during printing and rolling to identify defects and ensure standards are met.
3. Machine Maintenance & Reporting: Report any machine repairs or maintenance needs to management.
4. Material Management: Communicate raw stock and printing material needs to prevent delays.
5. Order Coordination: Receive daily production lists and prioritize jobs.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures, use PPE, and report concerns.
7. Workflow Efficiency: Ensure completed jobs are staged properly for Post Press.

Requirements:

• Experience operating label printing presses, preferably Nilpeter.
