MAU is hiring a Flexo Press Operator for our client in Dallas, TX. As a Flexo Press Operator, you will set up and operate the printing press to produce labels and related products. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information:

• Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Monday – Thursday | 4:00 PM to 2:30 PM

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three years of related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of flexographic printing press experience preferred

General Requirements:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret rulers, scales, and measurement devices

Essential Functions:

• Read job orders and load dies into the press
• Install and align print cylinders on the press
• Fill ink pans, screens, and pumps with specified inks
• Start the press and adjust speed and stock alignment
• Engage print cylinders and adjust impressions as needed
• Inspect approval strips for print imperfections and make adjustments
• Clean plates, print cylinders, and dies
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance
• Mix inks to maintain desired color and viscosity
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand; frequently required to walk
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
