Reporting to the Sales Director, the Flexo Implementation Specialist (FIQ) is responsible for delivering expert training, consulting, and remote support in the field of flexographic printing. Key focus areas include optimizing imaging and exposure equipment for flexo platemaking, print optimization, color management, and other related software such as screening or workflow. The specialist will troubleshoot technical issues, ensure high customer satisfaction, and support sales efforts by conducting product demos and benchmarks.
This position will be remote within the US, with a preference for candidates located on the Eastern side of the US.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Support and consult on digital plate-cutting workflows.
Provide expert-level consulting services related to technological improvement of software, hardware, plates, color, and printing presses for Flexo.
Provide support to customers and internal staff relating to the platemaking processes, Esko screening, and color applications.
Provide support of sales and distributors conducting hardware/software demos and benchmarks at various locations.
Travel up to 75% overnight across the US and occasionally to Canada.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness to travel up to 75% overnight within the U.S., with occasional travel to Canada.
At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with emphasis in Graphic Arts, Graphic Communications, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Windows/macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office; intermediate skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong troubleshooting abilities related to printing and software issues, including performing software installations and network configurations at an intermediate level.
