Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Dining Services Associate to support the Dining Services Director. Flexible hours between 7am and 7pm, weekends required, at 600 Mount View Street.

You will prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents, follow HACCP/WHMIS guidelines, keep the kitchen and dining areas clean, and assist with stocking and setup. No advance notice; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Food handlers certification or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Willingness and ability to learn new tasks.
• Able to work varied shifts and weekends.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand/walk for long periods.
• Free from communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals safely for residents.
• Follow HACCP and WHMIS guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper hygiene.
• Serve meals in a respectful, resident-focused manner.
• Assist with stock, receiving, and setup of dining rooms.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Dining Services Director.
