Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex - unarmed in Santa Monica, California. You’ll use our shift‑pickup platform to view open shifts and build a schedule that fits your availability, with pay of $20.50 per hour and growth opportunities in a dynamic, protective role.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring for hazards, reporting incidents, and assisting clients and visitors. Must have a high school diploma or 5 years experience, valid driver’s license, and pass background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws
• Valid driver’s license if driving company or customer vehicle
• Background check and drug screen required
• Be at least 18 (21 if armed)
• Reliable and adaptable to different post assignments
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment
• Demonstrated communication skills with the public

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property
• Investigate and prepare reports on incidents; maintain logs
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary
