Job summary

Sonopartners LLC in Greensboro, NC is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our growing imaging team. You will perform a range of ultrasound examinations, prepare patients for procedures, and ensure comfort while delivering high-quality images for physician interpretation.

Work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff in a supportive environment, maintain HIPAA-compliant records, and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS certification (or registry-eligible) required.
• Experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, or general sonography preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and sonographic pathology.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with PACS and electronic health record (EHR) systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a variety of imaging modalities
• Capture and document high-quality sonographic images for physician interpretation
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnoses
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA standards
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines for all imaging procedures
