Beth Israel Lahey Health in Lexington is seeking a Physical Therapist to join a collaborative team of therapists. The role supports orthopedic, neurological, vestibular and pelvic health diagnoses with opportunities for orthotic fabrication.

The position offers a 40-hour work week with flexible scheduling options including five eight-hour shifts or four ten-hour shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, retirement, and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Education: BS Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active MA Physical Therapy license OR candidates for licensure who have submitted a complete and accepted application for licensure “BY EXAMINATION ONLY”
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support (BLS) certified.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Examination: Examines patient, records findings, identifies needs, and develops a measurable plan.
• Treatment Planning and Intervention: Safely implements treatment with active patient engagement and education.
• Discharge Planning: Initiates discharge planning and coordinates with multidisciplinary team.
• Patient Care Documentation: Maintains medical records with initial evaluation, notes, assessments and discharge summaries.
• Productivity/ statistics: Meets department productivity standards and assists in data collection.
• Training, Education, and Information Sharing: Participates in education and shares knowledge with colleagues.
• Career Development: Maintains PT skills and participates in Rehabilitation Services Career Ladder.
